Colours and Creativity Fill the Streets of Bengaluru

Early January 2026 – Amidst the buzz of city life, a one-day painting and sketch exhibition in Bengaluru captivated locals and art lovers alike.
Part of an annual celebration, this outdoor art show stretched along key city roads and transformed the urban space into a vibrant display of creativity. Paintings of diverse themes — from nature’s hues to expressive compositions — astonished visitors and created lively public engagement.
Officials reported more than three lakh visitors, as well as robust activity in sales, where paintings and artworks exchanged hands to the tune of over ₹3 crore — a strong testament to the growing interest in contemporary art.
For artists like Nidhi Bhatia and her peers, these community festivals are more than exhibitions — they are joyful gatherings that bring art into everyday life, make creativity visible, and invite everyone to pause, look, and connect through colour and expression.
